Will there be over-spray all over my garage?

Absolutely not! When we arrive we’ll let you know if anything needs to be moved, just to be safe. We also use the latest in air dry clears. This technology has sped clear drying times up from 4 to 5 hours to 20 minutes. So, overspray is dry in centimetres and seconds not metres and minutes.

How do you match the colour?

We match it the same way a panel shop does. We have a full tinting system. All we need is your colour code which we find on your car on the day. We put that code into our computer system and match your colour perfectly onsite.

Will I be able to tell where the repair area is?

Absolutely not. Once the car is repaired and prepped for paint, the paint is applied and blended into the adjacent panel (so you can’t tell where the new paint was). We also clear coat the whole panel to seal the repair and paint properly.

Our goal is to make it look like you never damaged it & we were never there!

Do you have any warranty/guarantee on our work?

Of course. We offer a lifetime warranty on all paint work.

What areas do you cover?

We service from Gympie to the Gold Coast and as far west as Ipswich

How much does it cost?

Most repairs cost less than your insurance excess. We provide free quotes, so fill out the form through the website, email or text us and we can provide you with a quote.

How long does it take?

Average repairs are completed between one and four hours. However more extensive damage may take longer. With our mobile service everything is completed on the same day. We also have a same day repair centre located at Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast where we can tackle bigger jobs like full resprays.

Where is my vehicle repaired?

Trufix Touchups is a mobile smash repair specialist – we come to you! Think of us as a travelling smash repair shop. We can carry out repairs at your home, or work. We just need 2 car spaces & a power source! We also have a workshop at Caloundra offering same day repairs. At the workshop we can also take on bigger jobs such as major panel repairs and full resprays.

Can you fix the damage on any vehicle?

Mostly, yes. We work with a lot of sedans, wagons, utes, 4WDs, both high end, luxury cars and standard vehicles. However, don’t hesitate to ask if you have something outside of this range. In our experience we’ve also worked with boats, caravans, ute trays and more.

What damage can’t you repair?

When we can’t repair something, it’s usually because the panel is beyond repair. It might be too stretched or damaged. If that’s the case, it may be cheaper to replace the panel. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis. If you’re not sure, get in contact with us and we can provide expert advice.

Can I still claim the work on my Insurance?

A lot of people are surprised with how cost effective Trufix Touchups repair work is. Majority of single minor repairs cost less than $500. If you do prefer to make an insurance claim, remember that you may risk losing a ‘no claims bonus’ or incurring increased premiums. Even if you claim insurance, you still have a choice of repairer, so Trufix Touchups SEQ’s smash repair specialist can still complete the work.

Will the repair be as good as a traditional panel shop?

We’ve owed a panel shop and are backed by 15 years industry experience. We’re also trade qualified, not a ‘technician’. So, yes! We can repair and paint vehicle damage to the same standard and with the same quality that comes out of a panel shop.

We utilise quality automotive paints, we have a full tinting system to ensure colour matching is precise and we have the tools to perform any job.
